His carvings were mostly variations of demons. With Ida Bagus Njana he is one of the most famous woodcarvers on Bali. He won in 1960 a first prize in the category Woodcarving at an International Exhibition in Djakarta. (1918 - 2009) Samanpan DJELANTIK I G NG Djelantik This beautiful statue of a proud Balinese man with his fighting cock had a signature of I G NG DJELANTIK.
