TOBO-00590 Wooden box, made on Java 1925-1950, decorated with jarapara woodcarving. 1925-1950 Very detailed woodcarving on this box, which was made as a container for embroidery/sowing material. One can only wonder how it is possible for a woodcarver to remain calm and dedicated to accomplish such a difficult task to cut all these patterns with the same seize and form. Utter admiration!
