TOBO-00065 "CRYING OVER GOESTI WAYAN" - Balinese INKT-drawing from BATUAN. 1930-1950 Scene from the Ramayana story: A king tries to seduce the wife of his servant Goesti Wayan. He is sent to do an errand but in the forest he is killed by servants of the king. The animals in the forest feel pity for the servant and put him on a bier. When his wife hears the bad news she joins the animals in their grievance. VERY HIGH QUALITY Height 44 cm - Width 58 cm in good condition
